When coming to Gia Lai, you will see the familiar image of Ho Chi Minh at Dai Doan Ket Square located right in the center of Pleiku city, near Highway 14. This is known as the heart of Pleiku, a key project.

The image of the beloved father of the nation standing firmly on the pedestal, waving to the people across the country reminds us of Uncle Ho's feelings for the people. No matter how many storms and winds, the statue of the President still stands majestically, always beside the Vietnamese people.

Behind the statue of Uncle Ho, you will be able to admire with your own eyes the series of reliefs simulating the lotus flower stylized in curved stone, like the vast forests and mountains of the Central Highlands. Next to that are skillful carvings of the daily life, production and fighting of the people here.

In the middle of the square is a cylindrical basalt block forming a 3-layer stone tower that gradually rises, full of the vitality of 54 ethnic groups. On the right and left of the relief are two sets of gongs from the Central Highlands that will impress you with their flat gongs and knob gongs.

Just like Ba Dinh Square, in front of the monument are square lawns interspersed with granite stones to create a walking path for everyone to leisurely stroll. Along with the 25-meter high flagpole with the red flag with a yellow star fluttering in the middle of the square, it reminds you of glorious victories.

Every early morning, when flocks of birds fly around, you will see people jogging or walking to breathe in the fresh morning air, welcoming a new energy. Flocks of birds fly around, chirping on the planted green trees. The sky returns to a fresh, green, clean, and more beautiful weather than ever.

Not only is it a place for you to visit and stroll every time you come. But on holidays, especially when spring comes, this large square is bustling with the sound of gongs celebrating spring. Those unique variations of melody will go deep into the soul of every child who visits.

On this occasion, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the Tet atmosphere mixed with the hustle and bustle and peace in the land of mountains and hills. People, families come here to watch the fireworks explode in the sky.

Life flows peacefully in Pleiku, not too busy and bustling like the people of Hanoi or Saigon. Perhaps that is why Dai Doan Ket Square has become an attraction for tourists to visit Pleiku to experience the newness with joy and happiness coming from the simplest things - national pride. Surely we will all find a sense of comfort and peace in this place.
